Carpe Diem Semper, Inc. strives to gear individuals
with unique abilities to achieve the most
independent lifestyle possible. CDS distinguishes
itself by recognizing the indisputable facts that
disabilities only make us unique and not
limited, that individuals are different in their own
right and, like everybody else, with the right
supports and opportunities for inclusion, will be
productive members of the community.
Through person-centered planning, CDS encourages
individuals to participate/engage in the use of
community services. Examples include the use of
public transportation systems, access to health care
facilities and professionals, encouragement to attain
housing in communities of their choice, to live with
the least amount of supports necessary for
independence and encourage individuals to avail
themselves to obtain employment through direct
application to employers and community job search
centers
